Their no. 11 Adebayo looked to have a bit of pace and a half decent cross. And Ogbene looked to be OK when he first came on, but their whole team morale dropped after the 3rd.

Not sure who will be tucking away their chances this season. A tough season ahead.

Didn’t look good did they. Passion of fans? Same as every club in first season in prem. Then reality sets in. They won’t get away with throwing coins like they used to though 🤣

They are way, way short. They're going to take some big hidings.
Edwards will get them well drilled and can see Morris scoring a few goals but they mostly looked like semi pros. They were seriously blowing too, even in the first half. Ability and fitness way below the standard required.
Let's be honest, we were utter gash first half. Still should have scored maybe 8?

As people have said, today isn't a game they would have targeted result. Had their ground been ready, next week at home to Burnley would have been a far bigger game and a more realistic gauge on how their season will pan out.

The were fast and prepared to attack on the counter. Likely to go down but in the mix if you ask me.

It might depend on how bad, Burnley, Sheff U, Everton and Wolves are.

Yeah, we weren't great, won 4-1 and I thought the scoreline flattered them.

They worked hard, were organized and good at what they did but what they did was very limited. Based purely off that one game they're in for a long old season.

Luton reminded me of Forest at the start of last season. Whether they will escape like Forest did, I'm not so sure.

Some how we survived our first two seasons with practically a championship side. I for one thought they gave it a go tried to press us high up the pitch at times. Luton fans on TS were shell shocked although very early days.

When we came into the PL we had an astute defensive minded manager though that already had some PL level defenders to build his game plan around.

Luton's central defenders didn't look like they have that kind of class to build upon.

I was thinking we should have (would have on another day) scored 7/8 today. Post twice, Joao Pedro's early sitter, the three Welbeck should have tucked away, the other pen shout we had, I'm sure there were others.

I counted about that. In the second half there was chance after chance.

I'm going against the grain here but they did well in the 1st half. They get extra 'hope you do well (except against us)' wishes from me simply as they have one player that's been with them from non league to premier league. Oh and the fact that they do not have a PL ready ground & the entrance to the ground is by someones front door makes me want to give them extra 'good luck' vibes.
No one is going to want entitled fans from Chelsea & Palace etc literally on your doorstep every other Saturday. It would be interesting to get jnr to look at house sales etc to see who has lived there the longest & ponder whether, when they bought their house, did they consider that there maybe fans of the 'top whatever' probably being tw@ts & literally knocking on the door on 2023. I think I feel empathy regarding their rags to riches story & I hope they stay up, with the caveat that I know nothing about their fanbase.

Their Sub who came on, Doughty... Looked a stone overweight, was blowing out of his arse after two sprints, and couldn't get near anyone...

Gather you weren't there the last time we went to Kenilworth Road when their fans ran on the pitch to our end and started pelting us with coins?

I'd be surprised if they survived this season, but I'm not sure they'd be too bothered about it. They are ahead of schedule as far as the owners plans to build the team up and will view this season as a nice bonus.

A year of EPL TV money? Two years of parachute payments? Goes a long way to getting their new stadium built.

No I wasn't, so my caveat about not knowing anything about their fans still stands. I'm just going to say that I'm too young to know (which maybe bending the truth somewhat).
