I assume we'd have assurances from the player before agreeing with Ajax, if he did want CL We wouldn't of gone in for him.

I hope so anyway

Only way we lose this deal is if Arsenal come in for him for Saka back-up, but would he want to sit on the bench at the Emirates, don't think so tbh.

Didn't Dahoud play quite deep in the Summer Series?

Suspect that we are committing this money knowing Caicedo will be gone, if not this window then definitely the next (when Chelsea's dire situation forces them to dip deep into their pockets, here's hoping!).

We were seriously lacking when Solly was injured - this lad plays in Solly's position.

Thanks to Billy Gilmour (Billy Gilmour) Caicedo missing from midfield was less of a loss.

Why do so many think this is Moises replacement?
The only reason I think it might be is because we seem stacked with attacking midfield/wing options now, and his would be the position that needs filled.

Yes we are in a lot of competitions but they all still need regular game time to keep up to match fitness. How do you keep them all happy, ready to play and fit?

This feels massive. The first time putting ourselves up against the big boys. The shift in mentality of believing we deserve to be where we are. That last season was not a fluke and we are here to stay. I will be over the moon if this gets done.
Can absolutely gaurantee he's not choosing us over Chelsea , arsenal etc who would pay him double. It's a nice dream though !!

Nope. Plays all over the pitch to a good level. RDZ has had it hard for Kudus for a long time apparently and Tony is feeding the Italian what he craves. We won’t have a clue where he’ll play until Roberto start using him.

He’ll receive the No10 shirt, obviously.
Well according to every single article on him , he is an attacking midfielder. So yes we know his position.

Where will MK fit in? If RW, where does this leave Solly? Is he now the RW backup? Can see lots of squad rotation coming this season with players coming in and out, and with there being no set 'first eleven'. Exciting times, and lots of selection headaches.

Well we don't know that. we've had several players in recent years who have chosen us over Chelsea, Liverpool etc . Not always about wages.
(pathway to first team, coaching, game time etc)

We're stacked with attacking midfielders but with the exception of Solly and Mitoma none are out and out wingers.
We're also stacked with holding midfielders.

How's south London reacting to this news or are they still dizzy with excitement over their second signing this window - one week before kick off.
