I've read other people saying he's the one that brings the whole things credibility into question.

And I wonder if that's because, of the three, he's the one alleging the more 'out there' stuff: alien craft retrieval, alien body retrieval, government coverups, conspiracies and so on.

Whereas the other two have basically said they've seen shit they can't explain and it needs investigating.

No secret that I believe him. Bloke hasn't got anything to gain beyond maybe a book deal and a whole lot of people calling him a nutbag (not saying that's what you're doing, but others will be)

You want it to be true. If I am honest, so do I. It would be a truly momentous milestone in the history of mankind if it were.

This is why I would really have liked the whistleblower to have been Graves or Fravor, both of whom I found credible witnesses. The key for me, was that when they were asked questions, the answers to which they didn't know, they said they didn't know.

But Grusch didn't do that. He said things like 'I was denied access', or 'I can't discuss that in an open session'. If I recall correctly, he never once said 'I don't know' or its equivalent. He always alluded to being prevented from knowing - or divulging - more. This raises alarm bells. He may be an attention-seeker enjoying the limelight, and/or peddling a conspiracy theory of government cover-up. I may be wrong of course; this is just my own opinion.

There's definelty other intelligent life out there but the chances of those other worlds knowing of our existence and in turn being able to get to us must be very close to zero.

I've no doubt something out there has developed travel that far exceeds the speed of light but they'd have to locate us first and the chances are the light from our planet that they'd be looking at would be many millions of years old.

If one of our near neighbours let's say 500 light yesrs away managed to develop a telescope that could look down on us with HD quality images they wouldn't be marvelling at the modern world we live in now but the tudors, native Americans or the ming dynasty.

No chance. By 'Alien' I'm assuming they mean Alien to them, not to Russia or China where I suspect these 'vehicles' originate.

The logistics of FTL travel, navigation etc means we will never have Extra-Terrestrial life visiting us. The universe is so vast, people can't get their heads round it, they assume little green men pop over to Earth as if taking a trip to Tesco.

There's more chance of there being an entire alien civilisation doing their own thing in the deepest parts of Europa's oceans than being visited by Aliens from another star system.

Although, if there were other life forms elsewhere, we don't know how advanced 'they' are.

I've always followed Occam's Razor, and think these sightings may be super advanced technology of this planet that is being held away from the public eye. But the suggestion that there is advanced life forms about which we don't know is something I am open to be proved. I just don't care enough about it to jump down an online rabbit hole. Perhaps the U S do have biological evidence. I'm still a bit 'meh' about it.

Only within the limits imposed by our current technologies and understanding of science. A paper came out recently claiming that the Universe is double the age we’d had assumed. Science changes the boundaries of our understanding all the time.

I get what you're saying, but the two are quite different. There are many things we didn't previously know that science gives us more answers to with every breakthrough. There are also plenty of things that we previously thought as fact that have since been proven wrong.

But the speed of light being an upper limit is fundamental to our model of physics, both classical and quantum. If it was possible to travel faster, pretty much everything we know about the universe would be wrong.

If there is a remote chance that we've got it wrong and something could travel faster than the speed of light, it would surely have to be massless (E=mc^2 and all that), which presents a bit of a problem for humans/aliens travelling at that speed.

Because if they've made it to Earth from another planet outside the solar system, they must have the technology to travel across many millions of miles of space far quicker than we can imagine.

Plenty of speculation about simple lifeforms existing on moons within the solar system. We're constantly told this would radically shift our view of ourselves in the universe, personally I'm not sure why given it seems entirely likely that life has come about on planets other than earth, so finding it in a suitable location shouldn't be a surprise.

I agree. I don’t think Aliens can travel to our planet through conventional 4D space time.

But, if they can create worm holes etc, travel would be possible.

Based on the reports of how UAPs fly, they don’t seem to be obeying our current understanding of the rules of physics.

We’ve still got a long way to go in working out how this universe works. People like Brian Cox speak of a deeper reality than space time. I wonder when we’ll find it.
