Does your business sell arms to Russia?! I expect this is the usual example of the insurance sector tightening its “heads we win, tails you lose” clauses.
I did notice that the compulsory insurance needed to go to Ukraine for Covid has now had war insurance bundled in with it as well and the price has gone up.

He doesn't give a shit about the Russian Economy. He doesn't even give a shit about human life. He is just another old man sending young men to their deaths and he doesn't lose a wink of sleep over it.
I thought initially that the fall of the Russian Economy would be what brought him down but now. Absolutely nothing in Russia will bring him down except a bullet to the head. He is a modern day " Rasputin " sadly

Good! Does this involve some of the new tanks offered by the west to Ukraine? Might be too soon. Sounds like some very sophisticated technology in play.
If the cancer reports are to be believed. Maybe a ln enthusiast with a concionce will act as judge jury and executioner for the whole world.. Nobody is impregnable.
It's like going to your GP with the flu. You have to trust him or her when you are ill to heal you. Maybe a doctor in Russia might be the saviour of thousands of people. Here's hoping.

Pivotal few weeks coming up. Do the Ukrainians have enough equipment to launch a new counter offensive. How well trained and equipped are their new assault brigades ? Could the West have provided more ? With our own hollowed out ground forces, I'm not sure the UK could have offered more. The Russians have had months to fortify the front with mines, trenches and anti-tank obstacles. My take is that only a massive combined arms assault on one point, hopefully a weak spot will work to break through and then fold up the lines. If so, all bets are off. If they fail to break through, a peace deal involving loss of territory is very likely
If Ukraine were not able to break through at the moment, why would they need to agree to giving up their land? That appears to me to be unlikely.
I'm critical of UK Government on most things. But you are correct. Their policy on Ukraine I can't fault them. I don't have a solution. I wish I did. There was an interview on Lviv Media with Ludomir and 2 Russian prisoners of war. They were the most honest of all prisoners interviewed. They were honest guys but it was clear that even they were totally indoctrinated.
The solution has to come from within Russia. That's 100% clear but how do you convince people who are not afraid to go to war and sit in trenches in sub zero temperature and kill Ukrainians. But they are absolutely terrified of protesting on the streets of Russia. It totally defies all logic.
Ukraine is being held up by Western funds as they can't sell or produce anything anymore.
They are just hoping Russia's economy tanks before they West stops supporting them.

The West won't stop supporting them. Even Portugal are scaling up their military because of the Russian threat but how many more Ukrainians need to die before we become Pro Active rather than The Active?
What Pro Active measures would you like to see?
To actively attack Russian Military bases and ships firing missiles into Ukraine. Then simply deny that they are doing it. That's what Russia does.
Ukraine are under no pressure, no timescale. This is a long conflict. Only armchair generals want a quick victory, to get the story over with for tidy minds. Wars aren’t like that.
Putin has made the fatal error of fixed defences on parts of the front, as he obsesses with a couple of towns that have seen 10,000’s Russian dead this winter. As with the Maginot Line, Ukraine will just step around them and attack elsewhere. The fixed defences will be sitting ducks for drones etc.
