The irony is that he’s also a huge fan of Trump, someone with contempt for much of humanity eg black Americans, poor Americans and he doesn’t believe that man is destroying the planet or altered climate.
The attitude he expressed earlier blaming the 'europeans' for all the ills and introductions of Australia is a really interesting one.

Not sure if the Americans so this still.

Loads of people over here don't see any link between the negative things that have happened and themselves. They pick and choose their history and ancestry to excuse themselves from the mistakes and atrocities. 'cleaning up their/your mess' is a huge theme.

Of course, far less so the positives.

An interesting mindset.

So feral cats are a European problem rather than an Australian one. Like rabbits, foxes and carp.

My belief is that until we take ownership of our mistakes very little will change.

The reason cat shit smells so bad is the food they are given to eat (the filler in it). Blame the human not the cat. Feed a cat on Katkin, a natural diet of meat and organs only (steamed not raw), and the shit no longer smells!
I don't care if it smells of lavendar - or roses - or sugar and spice and all things nice. It's still shit, shat by somebody else's cat, and I don't want it in my garden.

The irony that he lives on land stolen from native Australians. A commendable interest in unique Aussie fauna, but Aborigines don’t count.

To be fair, I think he has mentioned that he has indigenous ancestors so not sure where he stands on that. It's another logic gap in the fallacy though. We hate all introduced species apart from ourselves (see also, immigrants).

Still progression around these issues is happening, a little too slowly but you know.

I do hope you don't get a fox that poos in your garden (of course, I do actually). Not my viewpoint. It's a garden open to outside elements not your bedroom pillow (someone on the internet will pay for this service I'm sure).

I feel the same about the rats, birds, possums and other animals that shit in my garden. And the magpies that drop stuff on my lawn, other people's rubbish that get stuck under my hedge. Dog shit out the front of my gate.

It is a dreadful thing sharing the world with others isn't it?🤬🤬🤬

I thought you completely cleared that list? :lolol:

I use it a bit now. Under @Bozza’s new web software, when a shit stirrer or hateful figure starts a thread, it means you never get to see the crap thread, ever. Job’s a goodun.

Some people remain dead to me. I thought about being bothered by that then I saw a shiny thing and got distracted.

No.

What a prattish thing to say. Although there are some humans (Putin, paedophiles for example) that I rather begrudge their share of the oxygen available!
Bigots, and people who make preposterous prejudicial assumptions for the flimsiest of reasons (whether or not a person likes cats, for example) I merely tolerate as a necessary nuisance, as of course every tolerant person should do.

Yes, you come across as incredibly tolerant 🤣

I apologise though, it was meant as a little bit of light hearted piss taking of a post I thought amusing. Forgot where I was, I will keep it to myself next time.

Silly old bat

Definitely not annoying, quite good fun.

That reminds me of someone whose cat found out it could switch her bedside lamp on by touching with a paw. It then woke her up, so when the cat got hungry in the night, it switched the light on.

Seems a bit pointless, if my cats what something in the night they sit on my wife's shoulder and meow at her (I have trained them not to bother doing it to me). 🤣

don't have a cat currently but my mother has one who is pretty much the opposite to yours.
While most of the time being seemingly depressed and full of hate, she does have one passion in life however. Death.
If you let her out by night (which I often do when taking care of her), she'll undoubtedly kill
Took me a while to realise you weren't talking about your mum.......or were you?

I remember staying at my aunties when I was about 7 or 8, waking up covered in blood. Her cat (a gigantic Maine Coon called Tigger) had decided he liked me and brought me a squirrel in several pieces. My vegetarian auntie did not find it pleasant in the slightest.

l am tolerant. I don't like cats. The two views are not mutually exclusive!

Chasing the little fuckers out of my garden whenever I see one has not ever damaged a single cat!

The image gave me a chuckle though. Just make sure it doesn't damage you.

On a more serious note have you tried a hose with a bit of a jet. Keeps our neighbours psycho cat out of the garden a treat.

Going to train my cats to use it.

Cats will go anywhere they please, whether you keep an eye on or not......

The above was more of a tongue in cheek comment.
Have you ever tried to herd 🐈
We do clicker train our cat, but I was more of the idea at night and when you're out, that cats do what they want.
Ours rings a bell when they want a treat :)
One of ours knocks on the bedroom door when it's shut and she wants to come in :)
