De Zerbi looks too much like the love child of Chico and Jez Quigley so it's Knutsen for me..

This comment from an Italian fan on twitter doesn't fill me with confidence:- Going from Potter to De Zerbi is a sensational downgrade, he's worse than Benitez and Sarri

Knutsen is the man for me.

Yes, on the basis of the comment from that unidentified Italian fan on Twitter I would say we should rule out De Zerbi.

Knutsen is my choice. I don't know who he is, but I want him for manager.

Unless there is a Spaniard called Juan, because that sounds Premier League top fourish, but not Carlos- that's very relegation dog fight.

De Zerbi for me. Has more experience of different football environments and bigger leagues than Knutsen and the Norwegian Noddy League.

But Knutsen is a good shout despite Noddy.

What about the South American you were all going on about on another thread ?
Like it or not Potterball worked, so if we can keep to the same or similar principles then that would be good.

I’m of course not saying that, however given most of us haven’t heard of De Zerbi until 24 hours ago, gauging the general consensus of Italian fans on twitter is probably one of the best yardsticks we’re going to get, isn’t it?!

Gallardo. There's more chance of Cameron Diaz giving me a Boston Pancake than him coming here. Forget it. It's ludicrous.

Knutsen-ball is almost identical to Potter-ball and his team have done well in Europe. He'd fit in tactically. Issues would be that we'd need to rebuild all the backroom staff as well and we now have some pretty big playing names. Would Lallana, Welbeck, Trossard for example respect him?

Still my favourite though, just because we've spent two seasons now working on playing a precise way and we'd just got it.

Hopefully Lallana has a role to play (though it should be Bruno), as Assistant.

We need a goalkeeper coach, as Ben’s deputy is fairly inexperienced in terms of top flight I would suggest.

Don’t think the players will be a problem - this is where the NDP comes in.

Eric Steele for the rest of the season?

Word on the street is Knutsen is walking away.

A classic case of Knutsen Bolts…

That’s the end of that saga I’m gonna go and put the kjetil on..

Can’t make my mind up. Both seem to play a brand of football that we’d enjoy

De Zerbi does seem to fall out with his board a bit, appears to have left clubs fairly quickly and has periods of poor form. Though he has two season where his side did very well.

Knutsen seems to be happy at one place for longer but managed at a very low level barring the European exploits. He’s regarded as a winner and bodo are very good but it’s the equivalent of Scottish division 1.
