This'll be why they gave away the vouchers then. They are specifically only exchangeable for a "brand new home shirt" for the 22/23 season. Early realisation it's the only way they'll shift them.

The voucher can be exchanged for either a home or away shirt.

it looks better in this than the first pic, but i can not unsee the "H" and that ruins it for me- white trim is much better

Quite. Who the **** is 'H'? ???

Is he related to 4 (the newcastle player)?

You saying that reminded me that although i have often seen training gear and warm up tops etc in various sales online and at the shop i have never seen home or away matchday kit at reduced prices . I have always assumed that they do not do this even if they have excess stock so as not to undermine future demand or because they have an agreement with the manufacturers not to do so .

Remember Barber saying something (at a fans forum possibly) along the lines of they manage stock so they never have to reduce the kit as no one would buy at full price and would just wait for Jan sales for it to be reduced. I’ve paraphrased from something I’ve half remembered but yes it is a club policy not to offer reduced price kit.

Did they learn nothing from when they wore the yellow and blue kit last season?

I was feeling positive about the coming season but now I've seen our new home colours I'm full of anxiety.

But have you seen the new home colours? Yes, the image of it is shit but it is still a mock up and rumoured bollocks. I’ll wait for the official reveal before I throw my toys out of the pram.

Not really a 'dad fit' then? Looks even worse on a non-athlete.
