and according to the 'Observer' this a.m.:-

"new Palace boss Peter Taylor is looking to beat Charlton to land unsettled West Ham striker Bobby Zamora".

C'mon Bobby, the choice is a no-brainer!!

Yes, why play in the Championship and carry the stigma of being both ex-Brighton and AJ's replacement when you could play for a semi decent Premiership side ?

I know he's an explayer but according to the BBC former Albion legend Bobby Zamora is about to leave West Ham thanks to the arrival of Carlton Cole. I have a nasty feeling that he may head South of the River to you know where. Taylor rates him and now Andy the Diver has gone they need a prolific goal scorer.

Ugh ! Bobby Zamora's Love Monkey, what a hideous thought ! Couldthis tempt me to watch my local team ? No 'Effin' Chance !

Will he even consider or care what Albion fans think about him going to the Scum? If the deal is right and he wants to play for taylor again I doubt it :(

Why isn't SC interested in him and would him going there be unacceptable as well?

SC's probably got more than enough strikers. What's his current tally of strikers now? 485?

I know that and you know that but you know what some people are. He's a pro footballer and he'll do the right thing and go to the highest bidder. After all, I nearly bought something in Focus yesterday for instance.

I still think he may go to reading actually. its the sort of club hewould do well at.

I thought he did pretty well at West Ham, scored the goals that got them promoted and looked dangerous and comfortable in the Premiership at the end of last season.

You never know, but West Ham may want to keep him, but loan him out for a season than decide when his contract ends?

Indeed.

Even Reading is preferable. Personally I think he's done enough not to have to drop down a division, Zamora and Bent would be a good partnership.

Didn't he already turn down Palace before as he said he still loved Brighton and the fans and had alot of friends here so wouldn't go there on principle

Or did i dream that ?

He's going nowhere, mark my words. Just paper talk....news must be a bit thin on the ground this weekend.

Cole was bought in to replace Teddy...we need at least 4 main strikers and Teddys appearances will be limited.

I'd expect to see Bobby used in the UEFA cup more.
