2 more goals for Bob last night against Notts Co means he has got 8 now which over the total games he has played 20 or so is not too shabby and he has nearly always been subbed as well.

Give the boy a chance and show those whinging Hammers what he can do, the tell them to feck off and leave.

I spoke to a Hammers fan last week who said " Zamora is shit and is cleaning Sherringham's boots now. He won't even get into the first 16 ".

Missing a penalty didn't help his cause. A hat trick would have looked better on his CV. Never rated him as a penalty taker myself - missed a few for us I seem to remember

I think it's about time we put this Zamora obsession to bed. He was a legend for us but has since been found out at a higher level. I still reckon he can make a good Championship striker given the chance at the right club. He's gone and it's very unlikely he'll ever come back. To carry on having posts about his exploits at other clubs is a bit embarrassing really.

I don't think there's anything wrong with keeping an eye on his career, or just letting people know what he's up to. You gotta remember that he was the first genuine quality player that we had for several years, so people are always going to remember him fondly.

I agree that he's not likely to play for the club again in the foreseeable future though.

Hmm, nice response Gareth.

I don't think there's anyhting wrong in keeping an eye on his career or remembering him fondly, I do both of those. I just think it's a bit demeaning to keep posting how he's scored a couple more goals for one of our rivals. So what? He's a striker and that's his job.

Zamora is overated by us, he did a great job in Divs 2 and 3 but he hasnt got the quality to ever break the Premier.

I remember people here saying he was better than Defoe when he was in the U21's, what a joke.

West Ham wll get rid first chance they can.
