Yes, Bobby has gone to the right club. No-one will agree with me, but IMHO Spurs are a good club for Bobby. They are likely to give him a chance, try to play some good football, and work hard. The only problem is obviously the two split camps. I honestly think that Spurs could do well if they didn't get so many injuries.
The problem is Bobby! He plays well, but just can't score. WHEN he scores, he'll have the confidence to get more into the back of the net. Until then, I feel the club should at least put him on for a little more, as he has proved that he does make chances.
At least Hoddle is now playing Bobby Z for ninety minutes. When he was having a quiet day, it was always tempting to take him off. Best resisted, Bobby Z can be nondescript for 70 minutes and then suddenly get two goals.
Only seen the highlights of yesterdays Spurs game and the game against Leeds and both times Zamora seemed to be marked out of the game.Once he finds his feet in the prem I'm sure he'll do ok.
It's always going to be dificult carrying the goalscoring responsibilities in a struggling team as Spurs surely will be this season. Bobby's not exactly known for his resilience when the chips are down. West Ham I think may have been a better move to find his goal scoring touch and regain confidence after last year. A Prem team after that maybe.
Spurs are always a team who show glimpses of being a quality side and once a month they turn out a game where it's not just a glimpse but a prolonged period this is when they are at their best!
Shame they're shoddy the rest of the time
It was always going to take him some time to find his feet. It's a huge step up from what he's used to to be playing the likes of Chelski week in week out, if nothing else, the fitness level required is something else in the top flight. He'll get there, we all know he's good enough, but it take him a while. Saying that, from what I've seen of him, he's made a promising start to life in the Premiership, and he'll only get better.
