Your squad is bigger, doesn't mean it has more quality. In 2-3 weeks time I would reckon we will have just as big a squad as you. More signings are coming and Vieira will be backed in the market, Parish has confirmed this.

Didn’t Parish confirm the financing and building of your new mega super-duper stand?

How’s that going?

Could be a time to go back to last season and try the old text a screen in a nightclub trying to push the transfer through like Wini and his pals did last year

Is he going again?

Where’s he going this time?

Nope - nobody in for him. Heard a few rumours forest were keen at £10mil and Zaha was also keen as wanted a move to a big club but Parish again blocked it. Preston similar - apparently we’re willing to go to £11mil with the add ons…

Poor old Dibley. It must be heartbreaking for him seeing the 'Dross join the club he wanted to X transfer windows ago.

If we could put the ball in the back of the net last season, we would have be much higher than you. Check all the stats, we were clearly a better team and had more quality than you, but we couldn't put it in the net.

You were 3pts better of with a lot worse goal difference.

And to put a finer point on this subject, had a certain match which we all know, had not turned into daylight robbery our finishing positions would have been reversed. Nah we had a better team then and possibly will have again, providing we don’t lose too many before the window slams shut.

But it's OK, we've now disposed of the player responsible for that error which lead to the winning goal.

FOR FIFTY MILLION POUNDS.

Townsend signing for Everton has got to sting a bit hasn't it?
Probably it is quite inspiring.

When Dibley walks away on a free in 2 years time he'll be only 8 months older than Townsend is now.

So nice to know that his boyhood team might still consider him.

Whilst trousering an extra £13 MILLION in those 2 years. Staggering wages.

you say that and clearly it a hefty hefty wage... but in all honesty to Palace he is worth every penny, he has largely kept them up on his own/made the difference for the last 5 years or longer.
So the 120k a week or whatever it is, in reality is good business for them.

They know they are bang in trouble without him. Zaha has them over a barrel really. He either leaves or they will throw him a new deal for 150k a week...

Which is £5.5 million ish over 3 years. A third of the price of Locardia.

If I were Parish, I'd pay him anything he wants.

His value in the market place is depreciating steeply as well so not quite so easy to make a comparison.

Its whole different scenario yes, Zaha would leave in a heartbeat if a top 6 side comes in for him.

His career in my opinion is now being wasted at Palace.

This is Palace last chance to get any real money for Zaha, and although I dont think he would cause trouble if he was not let go.... he would certainly with the best will in the world be de-motivated... and that is not a good thing.

He gets frustrated at the best of times...
