Took my seat as soon as the gates opened. I was 4 seats from the dividing area and the police cordon. When Southampton arrived they almost immediately started the usual homophobic chants and we responded with 'You're too ugly.....'

Forgive me, I would like to understand how assertions that someone is gay rates as homophobic. Me thinks people are more concerned about threats to their masculinity than hatred towards homosexuals, as a response above to a funny little dig doth show! It appears that some of those who complain about homophobia are the most homophobic of all!

I was suprised how ugly and badly dressed a lot of your fans were, I was expecting an edgy, youthfull crowd with dozens of chino wearing boat shoe types reading the guardian and discussing wind farms. I think I was probably the best looking fan at St Mary's yesterday and with my fair isle jumper and clarks desert boots I really looked the part, I expect a fair few of you would quite like to tap me.
