1943. On my Dad's computer at work, he said," It was huge," I said, "You ought to call it Colossus."
Unfortunately there wasn't much football to chat about as most people were trying to beat the Germans at War. It was mostly International away matches. Or so I was told Three years later when I was born. :guns:

It would have been around about 1997 or 1998 - I lurked for quite a bit before I made a first comment.
I've no idea what the first comment was: I can't even remember my username then. Back then it was different, I don't think it was called NSC. It was a bit shouty: it just seemed to consist of a load of keyboard warriors shouting abuse at each other.

Wozza persuaded me to come back to it, so I rejoined it around 1999/2000 but I can't remember my first post then either.

In London village.
What sort of horse powered pc did you have back then?

It was powered by a cunning combination of Harveys and wasabi nuts, unfortunately it had the side effect of breaching several chapters of the Hague Convention.

September 1939, I was enquiring in the "Ask the Club" section who should refund our season tickets after Hitler invaded Poland.

Early 98, not long after I first connected to the internet, can't remember what my first post was about...probably moaning about going to Gillingham for home games or wondering whether we would ever return to Brighton.

Just the er, five, for me to go then '
