I'm looking forward to seeing Bentley against a decent side away from home. I thought he was a knob for pulling out of the Under-21s but he's won me over. Beckham to come on for him with 15-20 mins to go.

I'm not too excited about the defence. Johnson is nothing special, Bridge is one-footed and Cashley is having a personal crisis. I am also NOT convinced about James - Kirkland's been injury prone for too long now, so for me it is a straight fight between Foster and Hart.

I reckon Capello wants to play 4-2-3-1. I like the idea of Hargreaves as the enforcer and Barry as the sweeper with Gerrard pushing forward to support Rooney upfront and Bentley, Joe Cole the wide men.

The beauty of Bentley / Joe Cole is that BOTH can play on either flank, which should cause defences plenty of problems if they interchange.

Interesting to see that SWP barely gets a look in, and I agree that he doesn't deserve a spot. Joe Cole was uncertain for me but at the moment I don't know who better could play there.

As for Beckham, he WILL start tonight because Capello has garuanteed him an appearance and with that committment he won't risk having to swap him for Bentley if the game's on a knife edge. Personally I still think Beckham is easily better than the competition even if he isn't as good as he once was. Lennon is very overrated - a flair player who constantly fails to deliver the final ball even if he has a few tricks to beat a man. SWP has been dissapointing after looking so promising a few years ago, that's what happens if you're not playing regular football in the important young professional stages I guess.

Barry playing the current Paul Scholes role and Gerrard in a free-role shooting when he pleases, Rooney will play a more Glen Murray role allowing Forster to get on the end of things more and do what he does best, other than that, same old England.
1-1 to England
