Can't STAND Ashley Cole, and if I knew Martin Kelly was any good I'd put him in instead of Terry.

As Patrick Viera says a defeat for either side could see them failing to qualify and going home so I expect a defensive side designed not to lose and win if the chance of a goal comes.

I've always felt Gerrard is far more potent just behind the front man. The problem with having him play more defensively is that he can't resist attempting 40 yard cross field hollywood passes which become predictable and thus he ends up giving the ball away cheaply.

This team but with Walcott in the Gerrard position with Gerrard taking the place of Milner. Really want to see Walcott through the middle

Glen Johnson will play. Jones is unproven at rightback, with some dodgy performance there. He'll be a star longterm as a central defender or CM.

Oxlade won't start. He'll go with workaholic experienced Milner.

This may be a strange thing to say but with the squad being hit by injuries to key players meaning they have to be replaced.i think the fact that the team pretty much picks itself can work in our favour.Apart from a couple of positions the team pics itself meaning that players can focus more on the match rather than worrying about being selected in the team.

For me Milner is a natural centre mid and so far in his career it was where he excelled at Villa so I would love to see him there. My team:

4-2-3-1
Hart;
Jones, Terry, Lescott, Cole;
Parker, Milner;
Walcott, Gerrard, Young;
Welbeck.

The Oxe as first sub.

I like this. Except i'd like to be controversial and put Lescott alongside Jagielka...tried and tested at club level before, so a better understanding maybe?

Just a thought.
