Vatican Citys No.2 Keeper
Rebels & Albion
Battipiedi's total ineptness at St Marys last season is enough for him to be included in this for me!
OK I see the joke....ha ha! Bremner and Worthington two of the best,Charlie would never let you down by his commitment alone.....and nobody has mentioned the biggest waste of space EVER in the stripes.....Michael Mahony Johnston....only the ones who dragged themselves to Gillingham saw what a Nagaski Tosspot he was!!
I think I'd have to have Mark Walton down as GK. Not just his mistakes, but everything about him - his body language, his gormless, miserable expression... it all amounted to a huge inability to inspire confidence in both fans and players. Can anyone actually remember him making any decent saves? I'm sure he must've done, but....
Ermmm..........I can't have that, Mark Walton was fantastic our first season at Withdean! He must have been, to keep out Mark Ormerod.

Must surely include Warren Aspinall for comedy value, not a bad player in his day though.
when talking about football, john barnes & john crumplin in the same sentence don't seem right
Have to say The Hawk provided some personal favourite moments of pure comedy gold. Who can forget the searching diagonal run from dugout to tunnel, pausing only to give away a penalty and receive a red card? Or the world-class bullet header own goal?
And here IS The Hawk in full flight, with Hinsh's superb long range strike thrown in for good measure...
Was that diagonal trajectory the same one for his diving header own goal?
