Closest I got to the 92 was about 6 short in the early naughties. Think I'm 18 short currently. Done 95 in total and if you include conference and north/south 121. All with the Albion apart from Stevenage and MK Dons when they were at the hockey stadium who I did with Luton and West Ham respectively.

Never really thought about it, but in totting them up, I think the only club* (aside from The Albion) whose old AND new grounds I've been to (for a game) is ROTHERHAM.
I've done five: Arsenal, Millwall, Oxford, Southampton and Sunderland. I hope to add Brentford and West Ham to that list later this season.

I can't be arsed to add them all up. I think I've done 49 current grounds and aboit 82/83 in total. I know I've done 15 current PL teams but, after that, who knows?

Just counted them up. I’ve double counted when I’ve been to an old ground and new but 78 grounds in total and 79 after tomorrow.

Division Current. Old
EPL. 13. 2
Championship 17. 7
League one. 14. 4
League two. 11. 0
National League. 10. 1

That’s a lot of pain, and lately a lot of great days out.
Worst. 1996 away at Rochdale. Lost 3-0 and looked like we were doomed.
Best last season’s 2-1 win at Old Trafford. Reason, where I live.

Whoaaaaa there!

What's this 'not for football' NONSENSE...?

If just GOING to the stadium for something OTHER than an actual football match counts, I can add (all for work stuff):

London Stadium
Brentford Comm Stad.
SJP (the Newcastle one)
Etihad
Ricoh Arena (CBS Arena now)
Madjeski
Adams Park

Well, one of the ground was wide open, so I walked across the pitch. Does that count?

I did kick a football into the goal ...

I think my figures are

EPL - 20 current, 5 old grounds
Championship - 23 current, 12 old grounds
L 1 - 18 Current, 5 old grounds
L 2 - 13 current, 4 old grounds
Natl League - 7 current, 2 old grounds,
Nat Lge N - 3 current, 0 old grounds
Nat Alge S - 2 Current, 0 old grounds.

there are others further down (Sudbury, Kingstonian, possibly others) and at least one which I think no longer exists (Rushden and Diamonds).

I have not counted Withdean and Gillingham for old grounds for us.
Spurs and Boremuff, though new grounds by their own reckoning , I have not counted these as old grounds as they are largely on the same site.

not counted old or new Wembley, nor the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.

And, of , course, Marseilles.

Great thread, brought back some great memories.

As we're nerding out on away nostalgia ( ) I thought I'd take a recount of the away grounds I've visited to see where I am on the 92.

I'm not sure of the rules regarding teams that have dropped out of League 2 (presumably though the '92' is the current set) and old / new grounds so I thought I'd split it up by in the 92 now / were in but now out and then by current or old ground as I have seen quite a few teams at their old ground but not their new one. My rule for counting a ground is that I have to have seen a game there in one of the recognised professional devisions that make up the 92 at the time the game was played (for example I have been to Torquay and Southend for games in the league pyramid so counted them in my total grounds been to, but not as part of the 'doing the 92').

Still with me? I'm not sure even I am. But this will hopefully explain....

Current EPL grounds - 9 current, 3 old grounds
Current Championship - 15 current, 6 old grounds
Current L1 - 13 current, 3 old grounds
Current L2 (here's the big let down) 5 current, 0 old

Which makes me 54/92 in terms of clubs and 41/92 on grounds in use today.

National League plus N/S - Current 4, old 3.

I'm sure many on here will beat that but anyone else want to work it out and share?
Current EPL grounds - 14 current, 3 old grounds
Current Championship - 17 current, 3 old grounds
Current L1 - 15 current, 4 old grounds
Current L2 - 11 current, 2 old grounds

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
No idea, but I stood in some complete dumps in the 1980s - Halifax, Doncaster, Rochdale especially.

Old Trafford was quite under-whelming even then.

Did the whole 92 back by the 2000's but now several clubs are at new grounds and I'm not starting that all over again.
