The phrase " of all time " is pointless. Even an old 'un like me can't remember earlier than 1962. Most people on here can only remember players from relatively recent times.

Well, picking out 20 is easier than narrowing it dwn t top 10 or top 5, so I'll have a go. Twenty names, in no particular order, and with no deep thinking or reviewing, just off the top of my head. Here goes:
Michel Kuioers
Peter Ward
Bobby Zamora
Alex Dawson
John Templeman
Nobby Lawton
Gary Stephens
Adan Virgo
Lewis Dunk
Bruno Saltor
Marc Cucurella
Mick Robinson
Tony Towner
Alexis Man Allister
Moises Caicedo
Leonardo Ulloa
Steve Foster
Evan Ferguson
Don Shanks
Brian Horton

.....and now I've thought of a few more that should go in there - Mark Lawrenson, Sir Norman Gall, Solly March for example ...... but no, no editing or revising; I'll stick with my list!

Blimey! That’s hard.

I just tried to think of the first twenty that came to mind over the last 45 years.

I just picked based on things they’ve done that we’re memorable for me.

Liam Rosenior
Paul Watson
Graham Moseley
Danny Cullip
Clive Flash Walker
Gary Hart
Garry Nelson
Spider Mellor
Johnny Byrne
Steve Penny
Mike Small
Brian Horton
Vicente
Inigo Calderon
Stuart Storer
Jimmy Case
Bruno
Bobby Zamora
Pascal Gros
Lewis Dunk
Great list. The only change I’d make is replacing Paul Watson with Peter Ward.

At least with 20 I reckon I could get Jeff Minton in my list

if I could be arsed

Which I can't
Yep, with 20 I could probably find space for John Robinson and Peter Smith too (OT but just realised they are probably the two most English sounding names possible!) but beyond my top three of: 1. Zamora 2. Dunk 3. OGH, it's just a bit too much work for my brain on a day when I'm struggling to concentrate on anything as it is!
