You Tube - please help Goldstone Invasion

Am tidying up our old video tapes and found about 30 minutes of footage of a goldstone invasion and abandoned match. First in the West Stand then on the pitch. Plenty of faces from those years ago.

Can anyone tell me how to get it onto You tube?

The game was against York in 1996 I think.

Can get the film converted into digital format, probably WMV format. How do you then get into You Tube.

Thanks have done that and just transferring the stuff from VHS to computer, about 15 minutes worth.

Sure will. The wife did the filming and it's footage thats never been before. I spotted Paul Samrah and Freddie Goodwin (Ken) amongst many others. Quite nostalgic.

One spanner in the works is that you can only put smallish segments on YT, about 13 mins at a time I think. Therefore you'll have to split it into sections.

Yep, saw that. Luckily its twelve and a half minutes long. Just got the wife to e mail me the file, and its taking a bit of a while to get through!

This was not TV footage but our own private video. So, as yet, not seen in public. Even I had long forgotten it existed.

Unfortunately not. Cant remember what made us take the video that day. Perhaps it was because we heard someone had sneaked in and burnt SACK THE BOARD into the turf.

My favourite memory of another game (unfortunately not on video) is when many fans refused to enter the ground and at a set point in the game they came climbing over the East Terrace walls and a few went back and opened the main gates for the rest to rush in.

Just like storming the Bastille :albion1::albion1:
