Seen on another thread that we had 10 mins between a song..

Firstly Oldham did sing and more than some grounds we've been too. More than 20 odd thousand at Forest mustered for sure. However you were just as inconsistant as us.

It was so bloody hot it was hard to sing cus everyone was just so hot. Plus I was in the mian singing part of Albion. Top middle. I don't think we went longer than 2 minutes without a song. Although some of them didn't catch on.

Glad Who the :censored: is bob zamora when we've got leon knight knight knight was taken up by all :D

I didn't envy you lot in the direct sunlight Rocky! Even in the shade it was roasting.

One sore point of the day: you ran out of Balti Pies! :( :( :( Had to make do with a chicken and mushroom - very nice too, but I'd been looking forward all half to that curry pie!

No matter what you say, it WAS NOT a penalty. Never in a million years.

You must have been show boating for the entire 90 mins, because you created bugger all.

If Danny Cullip and Leon Knight were removed during the game then you'd have struggled to get a grip on the game (Will Haining and Chris Killen both had to go off).

It's all very well saying how easy it was, but you created f*** all, and if justice had prevailed and no penalty was given, I'd love to have seen just how 'easy' it was for you then.

Denilson, stop boasting about Leon Knight, saying stuff like 'Roca looked a prospect, but he's no Leon Knight'. He isn't even your fuckin' player! At least Roca belongs to us. Your goals were scored by players who will be pissing off in the near future. Hardly something to boast about.

Oldham 1-3 Brighton

Diminutive striker Leon Knight grabbed a brace to give Brighton a comfortable opening-day win at Oldham.
Steve Coppell's side are one of the favourites to bounce straight back after being relegated last season and they gave Oldham a torrid time.

Brighton went in front from the penalty spot when Darius Henderson, on loan from Reading, sent goalkeeper Les Pogliacomi the wrong way after Danny Boshell handled.

Knight, on loan from Chelsea, extended the lead with a well-directed header and he added to the home side's misery in the 62nd minute when he stole in to steer a poorly-defended cross into the net from close range.

Not my words, Reeves. The words of Top Gear Magazine! (OK, the BBC website)

I hope you are right Reevesy. If we can win 3-1 when we create bugger all, WHAT THE HELL ARE WE GOING TO DO WE WHEN ACTUALLY GO FOR IT?

Yep. Killen was taken of because he was shit. He just went to hospital afterwards for a laugh.

'Oldham were shit. End of.'

Very good point and well put. Well done. However, the fact that you had a pretty much full strength team out, we had a weakened youth team out and you still needed a dodgy (there's a euphemism) penalty to win could also imply that you are shit.

As for the BBC report, don't make me laugh. The reports are written by people who don't go to the games. Amazingly, that report is identical to the one on ceefax, which is in turn identical to the one on teletext apart from the fact that Teletext claimed that the game was at Brighton and John Eyre 'handballed'. Don't bother reading them. They're a waste of time.

BTW, I was being SARCASTIC when I said that Albion were coasting all game.
