Very much this. He is either very naive, stupid or devious and two-faced. He really is totally out of touch with the reality of the situation.

you missed "poorly briefed". its a 6 page document, i doubt he personally researched and wrote every paragraph. so yes very much out of touch. seems politians dont seem to understand and work through the consequences of their ideas.

fair enough - and it's the highlighted bit that I just don't get..... and I mean "don't get" in terms of how politicians sometimes don't seem to work things out.

I think Cameron absolutely 'gets' it, he just doesn't care about those in need....
