Any one know of good deals on the IPad 2. 16 gig wifi version.Seems like a bit of price rigging in the market, everyone charging the same. Even Apple Refurbs are only £40 quid down on brand new.
Surely with the IPad 3 firmly established there must be a decent discount somewhere?

There is very little margin in Apple stuff for distributors so the prices are pretty much the same across the board. You're unlikely to see much variation anywhere.

I'm more familiar with Macs - If I were selling I'd use Ebay, if I were buying and looking for previous generation Apple products I'd be patient and check the Apple Refurb store.

I'd post a link but I cannot here (annoyingly) but your chosen iPad is marked as £259 though is currently out of stock. Apart from buying the latest lines, buying Apple refurb is possibly better than buying new as each product been through the quality checks, something minor or possibly nothing caused it's return, and been through quality checks again - at a 20% or so discount.

My 2003 vintage iMac with one non-working pixel out of 1,296,000 from when I got it refurb is, with a couple of OS upgrades is better than new... for browsing the web and similar light tasks at least, and spare computer.

I suggest you Google search Apple refurb...

Tim
