Nice, but not a lively atmosphere. The Connaught might be better if looking for a livelier atmosphere.

I have never been there. i have always wanted to know what it is like.
What types of food do they do? good quality?
sorry to be a pain

This link will take you to there website where you can browse through all the menu's (including children's menu's and wine's etc):

http://www.theploughpyecombe.co.uk/our_food.htm

Or if you just want to browse the normal menu quickly:

All worth the price, very good quality food.

PS: it might just be worth making a reservation.

Ginger Pig or Ginger Fox, depending on how far you want to travel. Otherwise the Townhouse on St James's Street is quite smart and good food.

Ginger Fox really disappointing the one time I went there - never been back since.
