On a sidenote - it seemed to go pretty much unnoticed that Djok passed the $100m mark in prize money this week. Add in probably double that in sponsorships and he may not have to open a pub when he retires.

On another side note, Novak's wealth is such that in 2012 he was able to purchase the entire annual supply of donkey cheese.

Anyway, back to the tennis.

Has t'other fella always been that 'chunky'?
He looks more like a qualifier than the defending champion.

I tend to find myself following the score when I'm at work, but I rarely watch it as I find it quite boring. The trouble is there just isn't enough variety to get excited about. They go through the same drill, playing the same shots against the same players, without any real change in conditions. I just can't get excited about it.

This week I've watched cycling (the end of the Giro d'Italia), cricket (Sussex v Somerset at Hove, T20), tennis and football (England). They have all been brilliant.

Except the football.

Takes all sorts, doesn't it?

:)
