It was there for the taking, that's what I think is the most disappointing thing. To fade like we did at the business end of the season is a huge disappointment. Am hugely happy at the progress we have made but am so unhappy at how it ended. Anyway next season promises to be another exciting chapter in the great book that is Brighton and Hove Albion FC. Should be another exciting read ! Can't wait ! !

Agree. But also think that it gives us a little more time to get ourselves ready for the Prem which I think we need.

I'm not so sure it was. We've only won two games against the top six, which suggests to me we aren't top six material. I think we're about where we should be with the team we have. The challenge now is to push on and get to that next level, and for that we need to say goodbye and good luck to the likes of Painter, Harley, Dicker, all the loanees and all of our Goalkeepers.

In what way do you need to "be Ready"? This gets banded about a lot by people who dont really have an answer to it.

Over there
I've been pretty positive about the way our season has gone but i must admit to being a bit miffed how our season has collapsed over the last couple of weeks.
WE WERE BLOODY 4TH A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO ......... (deep breath)
haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Never mind, we'll do it next season

Agreed about those particular players.

Need:
a proven goal finisher or 2,
back up to Vicente on creativity, and/or midfield general like M'Boro have in Barry Robson
fullbacks who can defend with pace
at least one class keeper

We are sorted on:
Wide men
Centre backs
Workman like forwards
Defensive midfielders

At lot has been learnt about the squad.

I agree with this. We have often failed to take points off of the top half teams in the league. Nothing to be ashamed of with a lot of positives to build on. This summer is going to be interesting.
