I'm looking forward to it even with the negative vibe from some.

it's a terrace - surely we should take 1000 minimum??

On a Saturday, you'd hope we'd be around that mark, yes, even if it is annoying to get to.

Saw Walsall away there last season with some mates. Its about 20-25quid taxi from the train station to the ground (miles out) and then when my mate drove us back after the match it took a good 30 minutes to go the mile and a half to the roundabout to get away..... And people moan about the catering and lack of pies etc at the Amex? In for the real treat in the terrace end then!

Least you get let out for a fag at half time......

Is a cab the best option from the station (Yeovil Junction)? And is that the nearest station...? Normally drive but fancy a drink this time!

Cheers

Beer Tent at the ground, pubs on the way to the ground also.
Parking at the ground for £5 if I remember.

One of the supporters coaches might be a better option?

11 of us going and hopefully we will get special arrangements like QPR! And some of us complain about getting to the Amex! Miles out of town, no public transport, what idiots came up with this site for their football ground. According to Yeovil's website, both stations are 3 miles from ground, so the poster who said a cab was £20-25 from the station must have been done!

what special treatment did QPR get?

Local Taxi firm Radio Cabs are attempting to recruit extra staff to provide extra Taxis for the trip from Yeovil Junction station to Huish Park on Saturday for the match against Queen's Park Rangers.

Discussions have also taken place with local bus companies and extra buses are HOPED to be available but as yet no definite plans are in place.

Ok, it seems they are HOPING to have some extra taxis and buses in place, not definite though!
