WWE is fake. thats the point. its a soap opera for red necks.
however, there was a documentary filmed about some of the behind the scenes goings on with 1 specific wrestler, Bret Hart.(his brother was Owen Hart..the one that died, but this was before it happened)
its quite an interesting film. Bret is intelligent, he knows its for kids and all that(despite actually being a properly technically proficient wrestler), and gets frustrated as the context of the show is made more adult and therefore bad for children, and the fact the bad guys( a la stone cold) are now the popular ones, and how having them as role models isnt necessarily a good thing. he ends up being kicked out of the show because his character doesnt fit in anymore, despite at one point being their biggest star of the 90s
