PHOTOS FROM CARDIFF - Pics from the play off final.

As I PM'd you before, feel free to use any of mine on the Marvellous Scenes the photos thread, although without the search facility enabled it'll be difficult to find at the moment. I can send on disc if you want

I think there's quite an edgy, ironic piece to be written about/by a Brighton fan who IS actually gay. Let's face it, we get it sung at us everywhere we go, and personally I don't know any gay Brighton fans, but presumably there must be some.

If you could unearth one who's a decent writer there's probably a very funny angle or two they could share on the Brighton-supporting experience.

Richie,

I have edited the first post because we do not need people to write for El Presidente, Mike Ward and Wrexham Fans.

They can do that perfectly well themselves.

:jester:

I've sent you an article on Wrexham.

Can we have an article titled.....Which mental Hospital should we send anyone who thinks that Oasis are a better band than the Beatles?....

Do you still want a "You're the Gaffer" section?

Weekend coming up if you can manage it.

It does not have to be the way I said above, do it however you like. A few hundred words to fill a page the same size as the last edition was, a5.

much appreciated.

If you can PM it to me when its done that would be great.

Richie,

When I said tell them how many words to write in order to fit the page(s), I meant tell them how many words to write. Seeing as you don't know what the type size is going to be, writing to fit A5 is a very casual instruction. As is, 'a few hundred'? How many is that? 300? 400? 500?

Be as specific as you can. In publishing - especially the production side - there is no room for ambiguity.

An A5 page with heading and modest picture of the 7x8mm sort of size will need no more than 300 words attached to it! That's assuming a readable but not daftly large point size.

So if anyone is writing articles, keep "300" per page in mind as a word count. Unless you can calculate differently Richie, from the layout you've already got done.

As for pictures, you will need to ask people for their highest resolution "originals" if at all possible. Downloaded web resolution images won't reproduce well.

I assume you meant 70 x 80mm? Tsk, tsk, m'lady. Richie - don't cater for a 7x8mm image. You will need something bigger than that. Really.

I am sure there are some lurking about.

They could always write it anonymously.

Ok, cheers for the pointer.

Fancy writing any of the above stories?
