At least we don't go pleading for loans from the PFA. We do our own fundraising TLB

I know. I sold 25 raffle tickets for you last week.

Just to have a dig I suppose, maybe I underestimate the inter-Wales rivalry ?

Question. Why are Cardiff so against Wrexham and North Wales?

I don't think we are so much these days. The two clubs were serious rivals for a while during the Eighties and Nineties, but we aren't really great rivals now. In fact, I think the Wrexham and Cardiff lads who travel away together with Wales get on fine from what I've heard.

I'm not at all keen on Wrexham myself, but my views aren't shared by many City fans. Anyway, my comment about their fanbase had nothing to do with any Wrexham / Cardiff rivalry. I was commenting on how pathetic Wrexham's support has been during a time of crisis.

Cleared that up then and I agree. Any idea how many Wrexham were at the final today ?

Not sure. I've been away at a memorial service today, which is a shame as I would've gone to the final otherwise. But I read last week on the Red Passion site that Wrexham had sold around 14,000 tickets.

Sky said there were about 17,000 from each side. Given the comparative closeness for Wrexham, that's a pretty poor turnout IMHO.

I would agree, you would think with friends and families more would go.

From what I could see there were more Wrexham than Southend but as Safeway said not surprising (although it is still quite a distance for them to travel)

I saw Cambridge, Cardiff (yes TLB, a Cardiff fan helped us carry the shirts round) Bristol Rovers, Luton, Sheff Wed, and Nic said he saw a Blade.
