No.

Pretty difficult to have a rivalry if your rival doesn't exist. I don't mind seeing them struggle, but wouldn't want to see them disappear entirely.

I want to play and beat Palace year in year out in the Premiership. Failing that, in the Chanpionship. As I cant have that next season, Ill be happy to see them relegated but no more. We need Palace as a focus for our angst.

And let's not forget the Palace supporters who were on our side when we were close to the edge.

Certainly not. Rivals yes, dont' like them yes, but no club and no fans should have the grief we have been through and I would not wish it on anyone

course not, as above we been there and loads of Palace fans helped out, would like them to spend the next season with us, then us go up via winning the division, and them come back up via the play offs and then first game at Falmer again the scum, easy

Needless to say, I have just put Palace into administration in FM. Petty, I know...... but fun!

No absolutely, completely and utterly no!

It's a rivalry, a massive rivalry, but at the end of the day, sit down and share a pint with a Palace fan and they are exactly like you and I. We love the game, we follow our local club through thickness and thin, and the stories we have of clubs are largely the same. They are stories of near misses, what ifs, competing against the odds, and ultimately still going and enjoying the rollercoaster ride.

Anyone voting "yes" on this is a clueless flid who has absolultely no idea what a rivalry is all about.

They've only really been our greatest rivals since the late 70's, if they did go out of business I'm certain that we'll find another outlet for our anger/mirth/spite/jealousy/oneupmanship etc.

That's not saying I want them gone, but it would just mean a change in perspective for us.

Hey, they're scum, but they're our scum.

To lose them would be like losing part of our identity. As has been said, after all the banter and piss takes, they have supported REMF, and have been there to support us in our own dark times.

So no, it would be a sad day if that was to happen. The feelings we got at Smellhurst when we won 1-0 were better than those when beating Leeds or Southampton IMO. I don't want to lose that.

No way Pedro, I wouldn't wish extinction on any football club. I just hope they don't soon benefit from administration & go on some ridiculous spending spree after the dust has finally settled (a la The Scummers).
