I wouldn't because my surname starts with an R and would sound horrendous with 'Ralph'.

Also it makes me think of that appalling film with John Goodman - King Ralph.

Ralph makes me think of Ralph Wiggum, or Ralph the keyboard player from the Muppets funk band. So no, I wouldn't want it for my kid, but for one of my mates' kids so I can laugh at them.
