Would I like to see a return of standing areas at football grounds? No.
I had a revelation at a Modfather gig in Nottingham last year - I'm never standing at a concert/football match again. My back just can't cope.
Now - where's the 'Complan'?

Whatever the reasons they were taken away and whatever new solutions are now available, safe standing has zero chance of being introduced under the current climate.
1) It will require grounds to again redevelop after spending millions pulling out terracing and installing seats.
2) Allowing people to legally stand in the current seating arrangements will never pass modern safety legislation.
3) ... the important one.
Seating (often conjunction with a "named" seat) has allowed the Police to identify people within a ground in a way that was never possible before.
In country that is CCTV'd up in way North Korea would be proud of, do you honestly think they are going to give that ability without a fight ?

Yes'i think every ground in the country should have a standing section behind 1 of the goals.

How are like minded fans to get together and create an atmosphere without a standing area......it gets my vote!
Thats why so many prefer away games including me. The stewards at Withdean seem to have orders the primary aim of which is to kill the atmosphere. Do they have to follow the rules on standing so slavishly.......what on earth happened to common sense!

How anyone can vote no to this poll is strange, there are ALWAYS plenty of empty seats at any ground (other than manure etc), the areas that will be full are the standing ones - if re-introduced, anyone who wants/needs a seat will never be disappointed.
