Would either of these work at the amex?

Just wondered what anyone's thoughts are about whether a couple of things from my local NFL team would be at all relevant to Falmer or are they too American/NFL?

First up the Jacksonville Jaguars (not sure if it's NFL wide) have something called the "Designated Driver of the Day". This might work better with crowds of around 65,000 in a city where public transport largely doesn't exist but the idea is that anyone who is driving and bringing passengers to the game registers at a booth on the concourse and there is a drawing during the game. The winner "wins" (not sure it's the right word!) Budweiser products. Substitute for Harveys and it might be a go-er? Would also possibly pick up some favourable publicity for the club in discouraging drink driving.

The second one is a number that any fan who is offended by the behaviour of anyone sat nearby can text the seat number of the offender for stewards to sort it out without any need for the whole unpleasant "can you please moderate your language etc" conversation. Used correctly and not abused it possibly has its place?

Any thoughts or are these just the inane late night ramblings of someone who has attended too many NFL games and lost touch with the beautiful game?!!

Everywhere
First one is a bit of a non starter as driving will be discouraged where possible.
Second point Some clubs do already operate a similar policy.

Actually I thought that afterwards. D'oh! Would be nice though. Since it was your turn to drive this week - here have some free beer.

Love the fact the designated driver is being given alcohol products...
