Dont beleive this has been mentioned anywhere on here, but hopefully those wanting to help out a charity on a day off, plus to see some albion greats play will go along to this
Worthing Football Club | 2008-09 Season - Legends Return To A2B
Worthing Football Club will host a friendly match between a Guildcare Charity XI and a Worthing XI for local charity Guildcare on Sunday (Kick off 12pm).
The Guildcare XI will see many famous Brighton & Hove Albion faces such as Paul Rogers, Charlie Oatway, Richard Carpenter, Geoff Pitcher, Dean White, Bob Booker and many more.
The Worthing XI will see a mixture of the current first team squad alongside returning legends Mark Knee, Andy Lutwyche & Mark Pulling. Geoff Raynsford and Danny Smith have also signed up to take part. First team coach John Lock and former physio Peter Knee will also feature.
It promises to be an exciting match, gates open at 10am with normal Ryman League prices applying. It's for a great local cause so please attend if you can.
Hopefully as many as possible will go along to enjoy a day of football action.
