No doubt many of you will be tripping up to Leicester for yout game on Tuesday but if not why not give us a try at Worthing Plumbase Stadium, Woodside Road, BN14 7HQ and just a 5 minute walk from Worthing Station.

After a poor start to season (results wise) we are on a 3 match unbeaten run (well jog) and announced the appointment of our new manager (Lee Brace) this week just after our stunning comeback from 2 - 0 down after 17mins on Tuesday night to win 3-2 and progress to next round of our league cup.

Season Ticket Holder (on production of) pay just £5.
Standard Price is £9 but get in before 7pm for only £7.
Up to 3 Kids (U16) go free with a paying adult.
Bar is open and average price of a pint is only £2.80

The next game when you are away and we are home is currently Sat 17th Nov, 3pm KO v Hythe Town.

Why are Worthing such under achievers ? 100k populatation, and years since any real success. Should not be rattling around in the Isthmian League ffs. I would go if they were a little better I think - I have done many times in the past - although I did enjoy over the win over Bognor last year.

Where do we start with that one, our president would point to the burning done of our main stand on the eve of the ground inspection for entry to the conference south many many years ago. We have heavy debt to service from failed attempts at success in the past and a ground that whilst still decent for our level is a money pit.

HOWEVER there is renewed vigour at the club both on the pitch (new manager, player playing for the club) and an achieveable plan for development of youth through U21/Development to first team plus re-introduvtion of community based initiatives whilst off the field its not pretty but we have established a management committee (as most of the board never show their face at the club) which is putting things right and looking at short, medium and long term matters.

Playing wise obviously this is Ryman league but the lads on the pitch have really been giving it their all and with 3 good wins behind them and 2 more games in the next few days the season good be back on by Wednesday!.

So give us another go !

What happened to the plan to build a new stadium in East Worthing?

Empire - NO plumbase dont own the ground just sponsor the stadium and teams.

Boys 9d - long term moving to a new purpose built ground with other facilities and income streams is the way forward, the East Worthing site has many issues but is a consideration along with a few others.

Good reception of BBC Sussex there, so pack an FM radio/walkman, and listen to BHA tonk Leicester while watching a good standard of non-league footy
