All good natured batter between the supporters of both sides with copious amounts of alcohol enjoyed pre-match pitch-side and plenty of bottle tops on display .

Bognor players and management though left in no doubt of their own fans opinions of their sides inept 2nd half performance .

I'm sure Jack Pearce has survived worse than this result over the years...….. Worthing v Lewes was a cracking game with Lewes and Worthing unfurling " Pride of Sussex " banners behind their respective goals.

I'll be honest, I rarely go, but always watch the results.

Same here when I lived in Worthing from 1972-79 (Athenian League then). Then, the crest was the one above but now it's this. Do you note any similarity?
