Got my ticket today for the friendly at Woodside Road.

£11.00 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A sharp reminder that it will be atad more expensive this season watching Albion away.

(although still cheaper than watching them at home!)

Was it that dearer away from home two seasons ago.

I seem to remember taking my lad to Pride Park for £1 two seasons ago.

We did have one against Leicester in an evening last year but generally we are only allowed to play 23 games and cup games in a season at Withdean.

Personally I don't have a problem paying £10 for an evenings entertainment. Cheaper than some forms of an evening out and meeting up with friends. I believe it was a similar price last year.
It also helps Worthing out for allowing our reserves to play their matches there.

When you play your friendlies away from home you have to be invited?

Mind you if Freeman and Rogers spend half the night falling on their arses it will be worth every penny.

And I mean that in a nice way.

:lolol: :lolol:
I don't think you'll see Freeman there. I believe he's what you call, "Surplus to requirements"!

Never mind.:p

Fair play to them. They won't get many chances to make this much money. I doubt £11 is much more than a normal game.

If you don't want to pay it, don't go. You won't miss much.

If anyone wants to get in for a fiver I can arrange it.(although it is highly immoral.)

I refuse to pay 10 quid to go to that shit hole of a ground, I expect the Crawley game will cost about the same but at least the ground is a bit nicer.

I don't mind paying £11 to see the Albion.

As mentioned earlier, if you don't want to pay don't go.

I just thought that it seemed slightly expensive for a local pre season friendly.
If Worthing want to cash in then fine. All clubs could do with the money.
However I would guess that we pay for the reserves to play at Woodside road so thats no excuse.

We did not play them last pre-season, there was a problem with the pitch, hence the hastily aranged friendly at Arundel.
