That was a fair tackle on the pitches of Preston Park 20 years ago.

I've not played much football one of my favorite memories was taking out two people with one tackle.
Play on partly because the ref was confused. My CB partner was ineffectively tussling with a forward so I went straight through him, hooked the ball away, and still had plenty of momentum to take out the opponent too.
