The Bengal Tiger is having a fine tournament reaching the quarter finals after topping group B and then seeing off the Cape Buffalo in the second round. He's never got past the quarters before, is this his year? Fast and powerful, these solitary animals generally hunt deer, bison, water buffalo. They have been known in rare circumstances to attack and take down beasts as large as elephants. Once they have the kill, there's no-one who's going to take it off them.

The crocodile has gone about his business in quiet, unassuming fashion so far. Topping group E it then saw off the Great White Shark in the second round. A three time finalist the croc will be looking to go one better this year and finally lift the coveted animal bowl trophy. An apex predator the croc combines tough armour like skin with the most powerful bite per square inch of any animal on the planet. He's outlived the dinosaurs, can eat anything and losing limbs or his tail doesn't affect his deadliness. Also has the death roll, the only official killing move in the competition.
