Well that is outstanding fortune for you, for a change Crodo. Richly deserved.

And warmest Easter regards to Gurjit, your chums Polly and Giles and all other patrons of The Ship, Lyme Regis.

The Rocket about to resume 5-4 up against arch rival The Captain.

On the other table the opening session of what on paper at least looks an extremely attractive affair between The Belgian Bullet and Dynamite.

Oh yes! Kyren Wilson

I knew that if I persevered, one day I'd get my hands on a plum from Gurjit's velvety ballbag.

(32L for the homespun trousers please Crodo).
'sake.

Crashed out in Round 1 to debutant Lei Peifan to become the latest victim of the Curse of the Crucible.

Every chance that both tables this evening could be done and dusted in one frame. What happens then? Money back or have to sit through an hilarious exhibition match between Steve Davis and Dennis Taylor?

This I believe with possibly a bit of JV for good measure :)

I'm tuning in to see what unfolds...

Admittedly you would be a tad miffed if your ticketed match is over after the first frame, they lift the barrier only to watch the other game walking off too.

I hate snooker nicknames and I hate the way the BBC announcer Rob Walker always has to mention them. I also hate the way John Virgo always says "Where's the cue ball going?" every chance he can. And I hate the way the crowd with earpieces always laugh at stuff the commentators say that isn't in the slightest bit funny. Apart from that, I enjoy the coverage.

The longevity of The Wizard of Wishaw and The Welsh Potting Machine is incredible, to think this could have been a Quarter Final nearly 30 years ago.
