Trump 10-7 up overnight, come on the Juddster.
Was a bit sceptical about my acquaintance's bet, but it seems that back in 1997, his 14yo son was playing in a local club and got ripped to bits by an eight-year-old who needed to stand on a box to play his shots. He got the kid's name and rang up a bookie the next day to get a price for him to win a WC at some point in the future. Fourteen years later, he's eight frames away from ten grand for a tenner.

They mentioned someone doing similar on BBC last night. Perhaps it was your acquaintance they were talking about. I only caught the end of it.

So, if Trump wins this one he gets to play Obama for the right to be President?

Superb stuff from Higgins in those last four frames to lead 13-12. He just looks so determined today. I don't think Judd's out of this but taking that incredibly tough blue down the cushion, needing the pink as well was so risky at 12-9 up; a big turning point.

Higgins wins but Trump should win this quite a few times as he is quality.

Always liked Higgins, well done him, but Trump surely has a bright future.

I have a lot of time for Higgins, yes he made a very stupid mistake however he has fought back well and proved what a great player he is.

Hazel was so determined to make Higgins blub...he was teetering then kaboom, bring up the recent loss of his father and inevitable waterworks...she's a tough cookie!

Another Bristol loser, but I think he might come good!

Get in there! Played John. What a way to do it.

Hazel tried her bloody hardest to make him blub didn't she?! Flippin' heck.

Judd obviously has a very, very bright future.

Cracking final and delighted John Higgins won. It wasn't easy on the old ticker though; what a double on the pink in that last frame after needing a snooker.
