I can't see any other posts about a World Cup song, so here is a letter (with a convenient link) about one that has been doing the rounds of non-league clubs:
Dear Fellow England Fans
We write to ask for your help.
Despite being a top bloke Mr. Capello has ruled out an official World Cup Song this year. Whilst we believe he is the top man for the job we also think that he may have missed a trick... The 12th Man.
We the good people of Henham have the solution and this is why we require your help.
Our song is callled " Bring it Back to Blighty". No gimmicks , no inane "Come on England" , no strumming and certainly no rap.
What it does have is a 27 piece brass band and a 27 voice "choir" and a marching beat that will draw you in and keep you there.
Here is the link:
Bring It Back to Blighty by The Clear Champions
Its got video link to youtube etc. etc.
If you can help us spread the word or if you want a promo copy as several clubs have already requested to play at half time ( Woking and Chelmsford were willing guinea pigs and the fans loved it) let us know and one will be sent tomorrow.
All the best

...I don't think it is too bad, certainly better than some we have had before!
