Oranje! Oranje! Oranje!

Feeling optimistic and quietly confident. 0-2 Holland win, Robben and van Persie.

Is there any other country that can be referred to by two completely different names, (Netherlands, Holland), and people will know exactly where you are referring to and to top it all the adjective describing natives of that country doesn't appear to be derived from either name, (Dutch)? ???

There was certainly contact, but it was Costa who made contact with the Dutchman first - but that will always look like a penalty and it certainly did.

Of course though, FIFA are corrupt because of it etc etc.

I think there was contact but it looked like Costa left his leg there.

At first I thought it was a definite penalty. However I now see how clever the Spaniard was. More cheating, less credibility for the competition.
