When people say generally instead of genuinely

The world "massively" has crept into normal language a bit too much for my liking too.

'Yer Beckhams', 'totes Amazeballs', 'like', as in 'like, I was on the train and, like, this, like, guy totally sat down', 'literally' (when it's patently not literal), YOLO, 'this is big brother'

Lets touch base.... I get an incredible urge to punch people who use this phrase.

 This.

I think the best way to deal with the people that use this phrase is to say " sorry, what do you mean by touch base?, I have never heard that before"

Oh my god.
Even worse when travelling on a bus or a train and having to listen to several teenage girls saying this before or after every sentence.

I really am a grumpy old man!!

Hello ? Yes, I'm on the train, it's ALREADY FOUR minutes late. I know, it's a disgrace. Bloody trains etc.

Oh do shut up will you ?

Never heard 'holibobs' - what is that?

For reasons I genuinely don't understand, some people say it instead of "holiday", as in "where are you going for your holibobs this year"?

No idea why, and it seems to be exclusively twats who do it.
