At a press conference this morning, Worthing FC and Victor Gladwish announced a 5yr apprenticeship training scheme worth £150K.

We will shortly be posting the full press conference for you to download and listen to here along with further information.

As a side note, manager Alan Pook revealed that Worthing FC's home "Woodside Road" has formally been renamed to "The Victor Gladwish Stadium" with effect from today.

makes you wonder what our stadium at Falmer is going to be called though doesnt it, as there is no way on earth they will not sell the naming rights.

He owns Gladwish Lands Sales and sponsors several local non-league clubs including Horsham YMCA and has some sort of deal with Crawley too.

It would be better if we could lease the stadium name out on an annual basis like the shirt sponsorship ?

surely this is all a tax fiddle...allegedly. Why have random teams all of the country. Loyalty? Maybe this is where he has plots of land??

this guy is no better than those that sold the albion down the river. Just wait until the Worthing ground is sold for housing...or worse still Toys r Us

It is another Plot Owners fiddle to fleece the gullible. It ranks alongside pretend golf courses to get around the dumping tax.

Buy up some junk land and sell as investment in small parcels. It does not matter that the land is unsuitable for building on.
