[Albion] Womens Player Rebekah Stott diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma

A few weeks ago Albion Women defender Rebekah Stott went home to Australia for 'medical' reasons, and she has now said shes been diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma.

As she starts chemotherapy, shes taking part in a fundraising campaign for the Leukaemia Foundation

Wishing her well, and hope we see her back on the football field in future either for the Albion or New Zealand!

Sad news for her, she is young and obviously healthy due to her sport which gives her a better chance to overcome this dreadful shocking disease. All the best young lady and hope any treatment is successful and she is able to resume her career and have a full and healthy life. The best of luck Rebekah Scott.

Will there be any happy news this year? Seems everything is is just a downward cycle at the moment. Sad sad news.
