Wow. That was a proper enjoyable game of football. Close, physical, shithousery galore, a brilliant pass and finish for the first goal and a mad scrambled second to send the Germans home crying, Marvellous stuff.

I hope all of you who were in from the start are enjoying it.

Reffing was still awful though, but that probably added to the fun. Hopefully will see even more girls taking up the game now.

Yup, think it was a tribute as it looked quite planned other than spontaneus. Was a big scandal among conservative people and media back in 1999, but empowering for a lot of women who thought "if the men is allowed to do something, so should we". She is the reason FIFA introduced the rule that players will get a yellow card if they take off their shirt while celebrating back in 2000.
