Withean / Open Golf

Can someone please tell me whether or not Withdean is still dismantled so the seating can be utilised at the Open Golf?

I have to do a radio show on Saturday, here in Dubai, and my partner in crime will be blabbering on about the golf (I do horse racing and cricket) - it would be handy if I could pipe up with 'I used to have a season ticket at withdean - seating used for golf'

but if no longer the case I can resort to - used to be used for golf

no I think they stopped a couple of years ago...something to do with health & safety

Not any more, they used to, but I think the Albion actually bought them in the end.

Edna is right, no longer used for the open.
