this actually really winds me up, i don't know where the media got the 'the' from...

i also find the media refering to us as 'brighton' mildly offensive.

and also...the media using our old logo, sort it out.

i remember ian brodie used to get p*ssed off with people adding "the" to lightning seeds. i know it's just called Withdean, but "the Withdean" just seems to slip out easier.

The difference is because it is an area as opposed to a stadium.

That's why I quoted Hillsborough and Highbury.

Withdean is an area. We don't play in Withdean though. There's houses and tress and stuff. We play in the Withdean Stadium which is in Withdean.
