Interesting question. Obviously noone is 100% sure we're going down because before yesterday we weren't even in the relegation zone, and there are still 17 games to go. But there is now a feeling of inevitability about the latest Withdean horror show each time one happens. I agree that people are no longer passionate or angry. The virtually empty south stand five minutes before the end proves this. I agree with US in the opening post when he says anger is good as it proves there is passion and people care. Now, I think there is such hatred and contempt for the management and players that people can't even be arsed to boo or shout. It's up to the players to show some fight now. Don't give me any of this "we need to get behind the players" bollocks - we don't. We've been paying top money for shit all season. Now they need to give the fans something to get excited about and some sort of HOPE. Unless they do, I just see us going down with a whimper.

the poor performances are costing a minimum £25k per match at least 1000 supporters @ £25 per ticket. How long can we afford that.
